Completed in 1871 the Royal Albert Hall was built as a theatre to promote the arts and sciences to audiences of up to 5200. Today the hall welcomes a variety of events including award ceremonies, gala dinners, conferences and diverse musical concerts.
The Royal Albert Hall is one of the most famous event and concert venues in the world, entertaining more than one million people a year at over 350 performances. It also offers tours, exhibitions, free lunchtime music on Fridays and the stylish Cafe Consort opens during the day.
